Masha-Allah. This by far has been the lecture I have heard in my life. No exaggeration wallahi. I have heard a lot of inspiring and knowledge based lectures in the past but this by far is what is making me think in a holistic and “Global” manner. I am very proud to have such a great scholar amongst us. Barakalalhu feekum.

Assalamoaliekum, I attended the websinar with my usra in San Diego. It was a great success. MashAllah, Dr Hisham really helped our usrah start talking about the objectives of Sharia. We really enjoyed the part where he analyzed the objectives from a global point of view, and the aspect of raising the topic of “bear neccessities” and the “need”. We can’t wait for the next webinar!

Very intersting presentation; specially in how it linked the objectives of Sharia to our life here in the US. The approach was balanced and maintained focus on the big picture, which seems to be not an easy task for many speakers. Selection of the topic was wise, as enforcing the global way of thinking is what sets this movement apart from all others. May Allah reward you.

    Excellent job, msA.

Is MT looking in video conferencing? I think seeing the speaker with facial expressions can have stronger effect on the audience and encourages more engagement from the listeners. Taking it even further: having some audience locally present with the speaker produce more natural and interactive atmosphere… Allah knows best

Great idea. I also agree with Hatem to make the at least the speaker be seen during the seminar. I think this will insha-Allah enhance the effect of the message delivered. Jazakumullahu khairan.

I, too, agree. The only restriction is that you need the video equipments next to the speaker which is some times not possible. Maybe, the webcam is a mediocre solution

    Salaams,
Will the recording of the webinars be posted on the blog for those of us who were unable to attend at the time they were held on-line? Or to rewatch as refreshers or to share?

    As Salaam Aleikum,

May Allah (SWT) reward you for your work in helping to clarify the true nature and intention of Shar’ia as a guiding principle for Muslim conduct and life. Opponents of Islam repeatedly distort this concept as a pretext for generating hostility toward our faith and community. Your work and teaching help to set the record straight!

    Salaam aleikum,
